Many people begin a new year with new resolutions or new goals that they want to achieve. But unfortunately, only a few really do.

Yes, I can see you’re smiling right now! 😉

Studies reveal that less than 10% of people who set goals achieve them.

Do you want to belong to this 10% group and also help your clients do the same? I’m sure you do.

So what is it that the 10% group does differently?

“How can I reach my goals this year?”

LACK OF FOCUS

This is one of the reasons why so many people fail to achieve their goals. With so many activities competing for our attention, it is easy to get distracted from those productive ones that directly impact our goals.

Sounds familiar, right?

Being an entrepreneur working from home, I know how hard it is to stay focused if there are so many activities around you that you would love to do…

Fortunately, there’s a solution to this problem:

If you really want to focus on your new goals, then these 3 strategies can help you:

THE 3-STRATEGIES APPROACH

#1 Analyse your goals

You should be sincere with yourself. Ask yourself what the real reason behind the goals you have set is!

For instance, why do you want to start your own online business in 2023? Is it really your goal or is it a borrowed one?

In what ways would running your own online business benefit you?

Do you have all the necessary resources and knowledge to run it?

Your real motives will help you become more confident and focused, and help you stay persistent even as things get tough.

Yes, there will be challenging times as well.

But knowing the benefits will help you be more willing to dedicate your resources towards achieving them.

#2 Accountability

To stay focused on your goals you need to be accountable. Start collaborating with people who have the same goals as you.

There are Facebook groups that are perfect for you if you want to get feedback from people who already work (partly) online. Share your ideas and plan to get important feedback that can also help you avoid mistakes. Ask people to keep you accountable. We all need encouragement.

Staying focused on your goals requires commitment. That’s why being accountable makes the whole process much easier. Do you agree?

Don’t hesitate to do so and take advantage of such collaborations.

#3 The right Mindset

What is your number 1 enemy when it comes to starting something new or staying committed?

Yes, fear!

And what happens when you’re confronted with threats?

Ask yourself: Will you quit or will you still forge ahead?

People with the right mindset achieve their goals, because they don’t let fear control their life! Do you?

Make sure you find new ways to inspire yourself. Celebrate every small step and see how you’re progressing! Focusing on the challenges doesn’t solve your problems. You need to face them, stay in control, and be persistent.

Strong determination will help you pull through.

The better you get at this, the more your confidence is going to increase!

Remember, entrepreneurs are confident people that are willing to take risks, because they believe in their ideas.

It’s all about mindset and knowing that challenges are making you stronger.
